We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers with an interest in history and interacting with the public. If you are interested in volunteering with us, you can find our current openings below.

Current Openings:

Docent (Beyond the Battle Museum): Docents enhance the visitor experience by sharing their historical knowledge. Docents also answer questions, assist with hands-on activities, and support museum staff.

Research Assistant (Adams County Historical Society): Research assistants are responsible for staffing the Glatfelter Research Room. You will become skilled in topics such as genealogical, land, military, and county history research. This is a great opportunity to work with our wonderful volunteer research team and help visitors see the collection and make important discoveries!
