Sue Wentz is a Senior Visitor Services Associate at Gettysburg History. Born in Adams County, Sue graduated from Gettysburg Area High School. She has lived in Cashtown most of her life, and her family has lived in Adams County since at least 1830. Sue has an associate degree from Central Penn College in medical assisting. She worked as a certified pharmacy technician/buyer at Gettysburg Hospital for 37 years. History has always fascinated her, and she is particularly interested in Cashtown and family history. Sue lives in a Civil War home and parts of the movie Gettysburg were filmed on her family’s farm. Prior to becoming a staff member at Gettysburg History, she was a volunteer at Beyond the Battle Museum.
