Dobbin House Consecration Reenactment

Join the Dobbin House as they celebrate Reverend Alexander Dobbin’s August 26, 1776 consecration of his home, 250 years later!
Festivities will include:
– Recreation of Reverend Dobbin’s 1776 blessing of his historic home
– Colonial era music featuring Troubadour John Durant
– Special guest speakers
– Self-guided tours of the historic house
– Free celebratory birthday cake!
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Evening Dinner and Lecture Program – James Gettys & the Founding of Gettysburg with Tim Smith – Reserve tickets
7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. – Live Irish and Scottish Celtic Music
Traditional Irish and Scottish folk music performed by Across the Pond will perform live in an outdoor tent.
